Safe Use of AI & Sensitive Data in Nuclear Technology Certified Workshop

In this three-day certification workshop, participants will learn how artificial intelligence can be used safely, responsibly and in compliance with the law within the sensitive field of nuclear technology. In addition to the fundamentals of modern AI, the workshop focuses on the handling of sensitive data, requirements under the GDPR and the EU AI Act, as well as proven governance and security concepts. Numerous practical exercises, industry-specific use cases and interactive workshops support the direct application of what is learnt to everyday working life. By the end of the seminar, participants will have concrete tools, guidelines and use cases for their organisation and will demonstrate the skills they have acquired in a certification assessment.

The aim of the seminar is to equip participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to use artificial intelligence safely, responsibly and in compliance with regulations in a professional context. They will learn to identify and protect sensitive data, assess the risks associated with the use of AI, and implement the requirements of the GDPR and the EU AI Act in practice. Furthermore, they will acquire methods for the secure use of AI tools, for developing suitable use cases and for establishing effective governance structures. Practical exercises, sector-specific examples and a final certification assessment ensure that what has been learnt is effectively transferred into everyday working life.
